
Dr. Saad Aldelaijan
Dr. Saad Aldelaijan is a board-certified physicist in therapeutic medical physics by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). He works at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSH&RC), Riyadh, and leads the Brachytherapy Physics Program. He has 17 years of experience in biomedical physics and engineering applications focusing on radiation oncology, dosimetry, brachytherapy, and regulations of radiation-emitting devices. He was a former researcher at the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center, Harvard Medical School, and has authored/contributed to more than 20 peer-reviewed papers in prestigious journals, and currently serves in several professional committees. His Ph.D. thesis at McGill University, Canada, has won the 2020 Leslie A. Geddes Prize for Excellence in Biomedical Engineering, and he was the recipient of the 2021 Young Scientist Award by the Middle East Federation of Organizations of Medical Physics (MEFOMP).
